Submental specifically focuses on music with subconsious effects, so sustained moods and feelings constitute a priority at all times. The project is divided into a Series of which each Volume in turn invites the listener to appreciate the essence of a special emotion. This project releases only careful selected new tracks by a specific artist per Volume. Initially, the Series will be limited to 5 Volumes, with potential for further releases.

With the Submental Series we offer a unique and new approach of releasing meaningful Deep Ambient and Space Music. The concept is simple: the listener will have the option to build his own CD album. How it works: Each Volume within the Submental Series will provide a selection of new tracks by a specific artist in context of the mood of the album, and the listener can build out of this selection his personal album by choosing his favourite tracks up to the length of 73 minutes!

But that´s not all, since there is an additional option. In addition to the tracks available per Volume, you can choose 1 track from EACH other available Volume - even it´s done by another artist - to include it in the present release. This is optimal in case you didn´t choose a track from a previous Volume, but the music has grown on you over time and you would like to have it now. So, you have great flexibility to build your own favourite collections without time pressure. All Volumes with their respective tracks will remain on the website.

Please note: the option to choose a custom selection of tracks to build your own album will start with Volume 2. The reason: for Volume 1, we received a fantastic and uninterrupted long track from Nautic Depths, where several elements build up slowly through the entire record.
